AIDS Vancouver and VPWAS are now Ribbon Community.

Programs & Services

Women’s programs and services

all women are welcome.

All Ribbon Community programs are open to women, including trans and cis women. In addition to our general programs that women can access, Ribbon Community offers dedicated programs and services for women living with HIV.

We know trans women are women.

Our women’s programs and services centre the experiences of women, including trans and cis women.

Nonbinary, agender, and gender fluid people who want to be part of women’s spaces are welcome to join women’s specific programs and/or access Ribbon programs that are not gender specific.

Vancouver Black Therapy & Advocacy Foundation provides women living with HIV who are new to British Columbia with free, confidential therapy, online or in-person.
