Indigenous Peoples have always been here.
Since time immemorial, Indigenous Peoples have called the land where Ribbon Community supports and empowers home. Our story began on Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh lands, where our Vancouver-based programs and services operate. Ribbon honours Indigenous Peoples as past, present, and future stewards of this land, and seeks to uphold Indigenous leaders within and beyond our work.
We are actively working on ensuring Indigenous people are uplifted, engaged, and part of all we do as we work to unlearn colonization, and be in relationship with the Indigenous Peoples of these lands, and those living with and impacted by HIV.
