Ribbon Community and Vancouver Black Therapy and Advocacy Fund offer newcomer women living with HIV and their families anywhere in BC no cost counselling.

Women and their family members and/or advocates/service providers can complete our short online form.

Ribbon team members will follow up and provide support to connect you with a counsellor.

who can get counselling?

This program is open to women who are new to British Columbia and are living with HIV. At Ribbon Community, the word woman is always inclusive of transgender and cisgender women.the process

The Process

All counsellors with this program have completed training by the team at Ribbon Community, including an introduction to HIV.

Ribbon Community team members who work specifically with newcomer women follow up with everyone who submits our online form to join the program.
