Starting in 2024, the Faculty of Dentistry of UBC has offered a Dental Hygiene Clinic at Ribbon Community. Led by students, this program is an opportunity for learners to put their skills into practice. This clinic offers education and clinical care, along with basic dental hygiene items like toothbrushes and toothpaste.
Students operate the clinic and provide dental hygiene care, as well as education to people who book an appointment under the supervision of a registered dental hygiene practitioner. This team also provides support for other Ribbon Community initiatives, including our annual Holiday Grocery in Vancouver.

Book appointments directly with the dental hygiene clinic. Leave a voicemail and your call will be returned on Wednesdays between September and April.

We cannot book appointments for the dental hygiene clinic. We can answer your questions or connect you with the clinic.
