DENTAL HYGIENE CLINIC opens for bookings

We are so pleased to have students in the UBC Dental Hygiene program back again this year to offer free dental hygiene services at Ribbon. Appointments will be taking place on Wednesdays at 10am and 1pm this year, and the first appointments will take place on September 17.
Come and get your teeth cleaned at no cost. All work is done by students under the supervision of a certified instructor.

The Indigenous Committee welcomes back Crystaljoy. This month, they are hosting a beading class in recognition of the “Every Child Matters” movement. She will be sharing how to create a beaded orange shirt pin. All supplies are included, and no experience is needed.

POSITIVE TALK DINNER CONVERSATIONS - "LET'S TALK ABOUT MENTAL HEALTH"

Your Positive Talk hosts invite you to an engaging discussion about Mental Health with a guest speaker, Connor McFadden, RCSW/RCC. This program starts at 5:30 PM. A team of peer facilitators work together to host a shared meal. This group welcomes everyone, including long-term survivors of all ages and people outside of Vancouver.
Throught the evening peer facilitrators offer decicated spaces based on identies of those present, including Arabic speakers, women, and African and Black people.
This is a free program. Ribbon provides dinner and bus tickets.

All people living with HIV are welcome at these programs. Public transit tickets are available to support participation.
