Kenneth Lackner worked as a bookkeeping assistant at Ribbon when we were known as AIDS Vancouver. Kenneth generously gifted the funds for this scholarship when he died in 2017. We are grateful to Kenneth for making this scholarship possible, and all his contributions over the years. This scholarship was initially administered by the LOUD Foundation. In 2023, Ribbon Community began administering the scholarship independently.

We awarded two Kenneth Lackner Scholarships of $2,500 in March 2024.

This scholarship is typically offered once per year.
