Polli & Ester's Closet Pop-Up (June 4 & 5, 12:30-3:30pm)

A free clothing pop-up shop will be open to Ribbon Community clients, including new shoes donated by Vessi.

June 6 from 10-12pm, the women’s only free clothing pop-up shop is open.

Two clothing items per person.

Fiesta Latina (June 4, 5-9pm)

Grupo Latino (June 11 and June 25, 5-7pm)

That is the message from the organizers of Grupo Latino, held twice a month at Ribbon Community.

Grupo Latino is a Spanish-speaking closed group for people living with HIV. All genders welcome.

Bannock, Coffee & Crafts (June 12, 11:30-4pm)

This month’s bannock is made by Lori Bryant, and Indigenous arts and crafts class (11:30am - 1:30pm) is facilitated by Sabian (@sabian_arts_and_crafts).

This is a free activity available to everyone who is part of our communities.

Pipe Ceremony and Feast (June 24, 11am)

This seasonal ceremony is hosted by Rob, a 2Spirit Métis knowledge keeper, sun dancer, and pipe carrier. This is a free ceremony and everyone is welcome to join, Indigenous or not Indigenous. Sobriety is not required to join. We will share in a lunchtime feast following the ceremony.

African, Caribbean Group & Black (June 18, 5-7pm)

Join the African, Black & Caribbean group, facilitated by Leon Mvukiyehe and supported by Afro-Canadian Positive Network. Dinner provided. All participants will be entered into a draw for $25 gift card. Participants will also receive a free frozen, Afro vegan meal from Kula Kitchen to take home
